Who we are
This policy explains how BRANDSWOT Consultancy ("we", "us"), a sole proprietorship, handles personal data collected through brandswotconsultancy.com, WhatsApp, email, phone and in the course of client work. We are the data fiduciary for this data.

What we collect and why
- Enquiry details you give us (name, business, phone, email, city, message, budget): to reply and prepare a proposal.
- Client project information (brand assets, business data, account access you share): to deliver the agreed services.
- Billing details (business name, GST details, address): to invoice and meet tax obligations.
- Website usage data (pages visited, device and browser, approximate location) if analytics are enabled: to improve the site. We will ask for consent before setting any non-essential cookies.
Consent and how to withdraw it
We process enquiry data on the basis of your consent, given through the consent box on our forms or by contacting us. You can withdraw consent at any time by writing to gowtham@brandswotconsultancy.com; withdrawing is as easy as giving consent. Withdrawal does not affect processing already done, or data we must keep by law.
Who we share data with
We do not sell personal data. We share it only with service providers who help us work, and only as needed:
- Email, cloud storage and productivity providers
- WhatsApp (Meta) and WhatsApp Business solution providers, when you message us or when we set up flows for clients
- Advertising platforms such as Meta and Google, when running campaigns we have agreed with clients
- Hosting providers for websites we build and maintain
- Accountants and authorities where the law requires
How long we keep data
Enquiries that do not become projects are deleted within 12 months. Client project data is kept for the project and up to 3 years after, unless you ask us to delete it sooner. Billing records are kept for as long as Indian tax law requires.
How we protect data
We use access controls, two-factor authentication on our accounts and limit access to people working on your project. If a personal data breach occurs, we will inform affected people and the Data Protection Board of India as the law requires.
Your rights
Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and its Rules, you can ask us to:
- Tell you what personal data we hold about you and how it is used
- Correct, complete or update it
- Erase it, where we no longer need it
- Nominate another person to exercise your rights if you are unable to
You can also raise a grievance with us, and if you are not satisfied with our response you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

Children
Our services are for businesses. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe we have, contact us and we will delete it.
